A San Diego Sheriff’s K-9 is recovering after being stabbed several times in the face when a K-9 team was requested to help with a burglary in Escondido on Saturday. Officials say the suspect became violent and attacked K-9 officer Nike with a large stick, threw objects and threatened Escondido police officers.

You can’t train a dog to bite people unless you abuse the dog. Putting dogs in this position is also animal abuse. Dogs are not weapons. They are alarms. End police brutality via mauling by dog.
