  1. It's not like the air restrictions and their times wasn't announced on every news network outaide of CNN and MSDNC. I believe I even saw the announcement on Japan's NHK news network and Sky News Australia. That's what's called selective reporting.

  2. 10 airplanes? That's nothing. Weekend air traffic in that area is intense, lots of sightseeing pilots cruising up and down the Hudson, or searching with a friend for the $100 hamburger located at any airport an hour or more away in the air, lots more students and their flight instructors practicing basic maneuvers and cross-country flights because they have the time off, lots of folks being flown on their private jets back home after a weekend in Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod. Ten aircraft sounds like the air traffic has dropped off massively in the past few years…

  3. It's one of the most active airspaces on the planet and these pop-up Presidential TFRs cover a huge swath of it. The pilots are at fault but shutting down the airspace over NJ this often is functionally asinine. It's like banning the sale of Pork Roll/Taylor Ham and bagels in NJ at random times, you are going to create a lot of criminals for no reason.
