Before asking “Why won’t India break up with Russia?”, Western media should ask a more common-sense question: Why should India break up with Russia? India’s foreign policy is not a loyalty test for the West it is driven by India’s own national interests.
USA is not an Indian ally and never be. It is the biggest trading partner. There's a difference.
The question is, do you all find it surprising that India has much closer ties with Russia due to all the backstabbings it received from the US in the past?
