  1. When I told my Mom that I didn't want to attend college graduation she said, "it's not about you." River Forest? It's not about you. It's about the millions of others who will benefit from this in the years ahead. Buck up.

  2. The proposal is Platform to Platform,, O'Hare to South Loop. Through River Forest – 80 mph every 7 1/2 minutes 18 hrs a day. The extra travel to destination is another 30 mins.

  3. So these people are bothered by noise but they decided to move into a place next to train tracks and in the flight path of a lot of planes taking off from one of the busiest airports in the country? The amount of people that would actually be bothered by the train noise is tiny compared to the amount of people that would be using this train.

  4. “We don’t want it or need the train running through our town…” Well you live near a big city with other neighborhoods surrounding yours who DO need it and I guarantee you the complainers will use it too when heading to the airport. They probably won’t even hear the train given how fast it will go. All I’m hearing is a bunch of whiny “adults” with main character syndrome.

  5. These homeowners bought homes near the tracks and just figured out that a train will pass by. These individuals are nothing but jerks they will say well no one told me about trains.

  6. The comment thread on this topic PROVES that Chicago citizens are full of selfish A-HOLES! What a terrible city! I have lived in the north east, south, west coast in large cities and Chicago is a bastion of low mentality freaks followed by Philadelphia which is similar dirty dumps harboring enclaves of selfish people, not even the people of NewYork city are this horrible!

  7. This video failed to mention that the line will be elevated through River Forest, so the grade crossings now won't be there when this is running. OHare Flyer has their own video on YouTube answering a lot of questions.
