Not them talking throughout the entire damn ceremony
I wish the commentators would shut the bleep up so we could hear what's being said in the giving of the medals and the cup!!! And no she didn't carry the team from start to finish, Stewie did, and the rookies came in and brought the score up, then they put them back on the bench and put the vets back out!!! We know better people, like I said, we can't hear what's going on because y'all are still running your mouths the whole dang award ceremony!!! And NO!! they want be in the USA teams nightmares, bare you friggin blind!!!???
naphessa is so freakin look good
Respect to Breanna Stewart and Sonia Citron. The US has had its problems, but it is still one of the better countries to be a citizen of.
Great job ladies!
Catlin Clark was awesome..but she walk away from team usa..didn't she..proud of u Clark if u did..
They always give up ever since the 1940s
.
I'm glad they got gold but I really wish that the team would have treated CC as a real teammate the game's would have been more entertaining and CC would have had a more enjoyable experience in the first world Cup and the fans would have had nothing to criticize the haters
❤
UN TRIUNFO GANADO CON MUCHOS OBSTÁCULOS , ASÍ QUE A FESTEJARLO EN GRANDE , LES TIRNEN QUE RECONOCER LAS DIFICULTADES QUE PASARON 🤾🤾🤾🤾🤾🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪💪💪💪♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💯💯💯💯💯
United States showed world class of women basketball as very impressive performance with 18 points over France as US team is very impressive players
Would be nice to hear the announcer at the ceremony instead of the chatter.
INGODWETRUST MONEY ETCETERA YES 🏅 BEST BASKETBALL IN THE WORLD USA WORLD CHAMPIONS UNLIMITEDSKILL BALLER4LIFE🙂🏀🏆
Was that Lauren Jackson with Jackie Young there? Until this year, when the Portland Fire came into existence, I watched Lauren Jackson help Seattle win in 2010 (i did miss 2004) win the Title, along with Sue Bird & Company. Then came Jewell Loyd & Breanna Stewart, & we won it ALL again in 2018 & 2020. We were going for #5 in 2022, when Sue Bird hit what i thought just had to be the game winning 3, but what the Refs put more time back on the clock that i didn't think warranted it? But sure enough, it was Jackie Young's Team, with the LVA & Chelsea Grey's incredible 2, just as time was expiring, that sent the game to OT, and well, we were denied the chance for #5. Chelsea may well have made that show even with less than the couple or so tenths of a second that were added back, but we will never know? Suffice, ALL these Ladies sure know how to play in the CLUTCH, and WIN!
They need to stfu so we can hear the ceremony! That was horrible!
Thank goodness for the national anthem. It made the commentator shut up.
No, we want 2024 back this year
How many American players are on the French team?😮
Soniiii puts her hand over🎉
Yeah truth be tollld…: Caitlin "1 Point" Clark was totally irrelevant to USA in this tournament. CC's presence/absence would've made no difference whatsoever over someone else having her minutes. CC was a PR 'DEI' hire on Team USA. And the world stage saw CC wasn't 'alll that' after all .
Caitlin "1 Point" Clark ! Twice !! CC go turnover & foul crazy in just 13 minutes against France. CC scores to speak of at all (even against jeeesh just China ) when the game is already in hand…: when the heavy lifting has already been done, or when there's already a big lead. CC when other players on the team score more points, or with far more efficiency, or in less time! CC who scored anywhere from ah'ight (just have 1 ah'ight shooting game), to so-so (for all the minutes, like against China), to poor , to downright awful (complete with an airrrbballl 3) ! I don't think Europe sees in CC — on the world stage — what Crazy MAGA Clarkies see in her. Or what Adam Silver forces/coerces some coach to say. Clarkies are just too much !! Hahaha!! But: All y'as gots ta be is whyte ta gets tha hype !!
My heart is so broken 💔 for team France 🇫🇷 😭
Was rooting for Team France all the way till the end.
Maaan! Ngl team France 🇫🇷 was definitely loaded.
They all cooked 🔥
They loss to team USA but they have my respect 🫡
Captain Gabby Williams delivered so well for her team. 🥹 she is the best player in the world indeed.
Clark has small time to play. The coach doesn't want Clark to show her skills 😂😂😂
To much talk now in every sport
The player of the world cup is Caitlin Clark! She had to put up with that coach, the other players who pulled the racist card! Not allowing her to start the games!!
She has more class than the whole USA League!! 😊😊
Shot up already!! 😡
😠😑😑😑 why does it seem like we the fans and supporters are never thought about?? LET US LISTEN TO THE FRICKIN INTROS AND CEREMONY!!! Also would’ve been nice to hear a thank you from somebody for all the support back in the United States. Everybody getting up all hours of the morning 4 o’clock 3 o’clock to support them but no no thank you at all. The narcissism is getting old..
France lost due to a lack of humility and overconfidence mixed with arrogance; an arrogance shared by FIBA.
FIBA ranked France N⁰1, not at the start or end of the tournament, but in the middle. That amoungs to a lack of respect for Team USA.
Fortunately, the game itself set the record straight. But for heaven's sake, they were up against a team USA squad with an impressive pedigree : WNBA ALL-STAR-some NCAA champions-some N⁰1draft picks-some WNBA champions. The same cannot be said for France.
To think that many journalists worldwide and even observers in USA predicted a French victory; it bordered on heresy.
How were second-tiers players supposed to beat the global standard-bearer of basketball?
The reality was harsh for some, but reality has restored the truth.
Clark's fans complain when she didn't make the olympics and now when she made the WC team and won gold they still complain. They are like annoying 🐝 by your ears. Sad souls indeed
What…..what did they say, you can't hear nothing cause the announcers can't shut up
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽
But honestly, did ANYONE think this USA team was NOT coming home without 🥇
The usa women won because of their talent. Not because of the coaching. The coaches almost caused the women to lose to a very weak Italian team. Almost to Spain which is a level below the USA. Against France, the women were finally in sync for this game.
Caitlin Clark is the best pt guard in the league. For coach Lawson to say that the veterans will start because they deserve it is downright ridiculous. Clark is the quarterback of the team, the catalyst, etc. A player at her level should have been playing at least 30 minutes per game.
I do not understand the attitudes against Clark in this tournament or in the league. You DO NOT put the most talented pt guard on the bench at the beginning of the game at this level. The most outrageous move I've seen in many years. The league is very lucky that Caitlin Clark doesn't react negatively to the way she is treated. And last, the hottest 2 guard in the league has been her teammate, Kelsey Mitchel, who has been more consistent with her outside shooting than any other 2 guard in the league. Kelsey DESERVED to be on this team!
The coaches are highly overrated and deserve never to be in this position again!
Just be thankful that the American players are very talented and played their best game in the final.
Angel and Paige are part of the future as well along with those 2 young university players from USC and Texas.
The WNBA needs to reflect and make some serious changes. The commissioner resigning is one positive move but the activist coaches need to go as well.
Congrats to the USA women!
You can call us all about sportsmanship and all that but any end it’s a business. It’s a business of entertainment and if it doesn’t entertain as well, go meet downtown at the park play games down there.
I mean it’s so clear to anybody who has half a brain that the only reason WNBA exist is for political reasons. A high school basketball team of boys can beat the national championship women’s basketball team so why would you go there and pay for it with your money, those girls also aren’t exactly us anything to look at either so that can’t be a reason if you’re gonna inspire little girls to do some great inspire little girls to do something great.
Sorry but that is some boring basketball to watch so unless that league decides to find some more interesting characters who can do some extra special things on the court at Lakes never gonna be a wedding business of entertainment. It’s just too many alternatives for people‘s money where they want to spend it until the league starts looking at it from that perspective and make adjustments. It’s just gonna languish as a stepchild of the NBA, some politically correct feature for purposes of virtue, signaling the rights of women or some crap.
Soy mexicano…
Felicidades USA!! 🎉🥳👏👏👏
I knew they win. Stewart was there congratulation USA. Stay humble 🎉❤
Usually a ceremony is emotional and you can feel it through the TV, but this one I felt like going to the movie with a friend who likes to comment all along. Women please we need to learn not to talk all the time 😂
HAN XU should be in the mythical five. 19PPG and 11RPG…FIBA should consider all teams in the knockouts. HAN XU is also an all around player better than Iyana and Leonie.
I love angel reese man 💯
Disgraceful behavior! 12 players and their head coach representing for their country and only Stewie and Sonia show respect for our National Anthem. And this isn't the 1st time the majority of players on the women's national team have displayed the same disrespect. Thank you Stewie and Sonia! Shame on the rest of you.
Please let the coach touch the trophy, she deserved that trophy to.
American dominance in women's basketball continues and i do not think anyone is capable of stopping it .
Stewie and Citron for the win! You'd think when you choose to represent a country, you could at least honor the flag.
And I agree the commentators need to stop talking!
Commentary just yapping even in the presentation.Stewart deserved that MVP she carried the team of selfish egotistic players who were so busy on the phones after the win.
Women…
