That’s the trade off with the Geran-5….. it’s jet powered and it’s fast but because it is fast… fighter jets like the F-16 can fly slow enough to engage it. Now on the flipside, you just took your $40 million fighter jet and occupied it shooting $50,000 drones. The enemy has more drones than you have ammunition and if they send the big boys …. You bled off all your energy, trying to fly just above stall speed in order to engage drones and Your ass is gonna get toasted while you’re busy trying to line up a shot.
That cannon burst costs more than the Geran 5.

I don’t support Russia as the governments of that country are oligarchs, but I don’t support Ukraine either as the governments of Ukraine have openly supported Israel.
I would like a stalemate so Russia doesn’t capture too much land to interfere with the already spineless NATO, but I don’t want Ukraine to become an heavy Israeli partner.
Ukraine needs more ground based systems that are just as effective. These are basically just expensive drone and missile defence.
