The Tottenham head coach explains his conversation with Mathys Tel on the pitch after the final whistle and what he wants from the forward when playing as a striker.
He also addresses the squad’s physical condition, confidence levels, the impact of a possible mental block and the work required to improve in the final third.

I'm no Spurs fan, far from it. ManUtd blew it slacking Amorim.
However, Spur should be patient with him. You can clearly see that the physicality is also missing.
Go Back to Farmers leage and your team to the championship 🤣
IrealiseI'm not even as upset as I was when we lost because he's right. Before him the shxt was indeed like this 🔝💀. The media and rivals make things worse without the perspective of genuine supporters. In De Zerbs, We Trust. COYS.🤍
The agenda against Tottenham is real, the media, every single fan base in the league, journalists, social media posters. Everyone is trying to put us down, mocking us under the guise of banter and generally just spreading toxicity and negativity. As Ange Postecoglou once said ”Spurs does crazy things to people”
We need to just ignore all of that noise and allow De Zerbi to build from the positive performance against Everton, we need to be far more clinical in the final third and hopefully everything can come together.😊
We need attacker the rest is perfect….
I think that when you have been in two relegation dog fights the players are mentally drained and they play with fear
He isn't very energetic is he? Maybe because he hasn't a great grip of the language
This guy will be sacked he speaks alot
Spurs fans need to remember how Villa started last year and their final result. Believe
Patience.
Solanke is not my kind of striker who can win games and trophies for Sours
Go away come back when you can speak English with the naff Italian accent. I speak French, but with a French accent in Paris otherwise I'd be laughed out the place! Comprende?
I i honestly think the players that he bought they are good players but they are not playin as a team and thats roberto problem , i think with another coach could do better .
Spurs are back
In 17th 😂
😂😂😂😂😂 has anyone seen ohara abd and Spurs? 😂😂😂
Im Olympique Marseille fan
Be patient with RDZ
He will put The Spurs high beleive me
I enjoyed their football first half just no end result . Everton also set up to park the bus. A team lacking in confidence it makes it even harder to score . It’s coming lads. I feel it in my plummmms😂
Jak zawsze pic na wode widac dlaczego nie grali w MC a gra bez ładu i pomyslu jeszcze 3 tygodnie i aut
Every club was affected by the world cup, stop making excuses
Been at spurs a few months and already needs Botox
Only an Italian would think scoreless draw is good result😂
I see him getting sacked soon😅😅
Media want Conte 2.0
Premier league is dog 💩, has been boring, is boring and it’s bent.
I miss the days of players Harry Kane and Son Heung-min
Roberto this is YOUR rodeo, YOUR players and YOUR tactics. You are being paid serious money it was never going to be easy and the PREM league is a monster, we have yet to play a serious PREM side yet !
To remind you just how strong this league is , Hull City have not lost a league game yet in the 2026/27 Premier League season !!!!
Tell me we are NOT easy to play against Roberto !
Can they just watch Arsenal games so they see how to attack the goal. Solanke the statue…..And Tel is not good enough.
The nickname Robert De Spursy is really shining through.
If Coventry beat Brighton, Spurs will be back into the relegation zone.
Honestly the players they brought in are overpriced.
The only good ones were the ones Spurs had before, Bentacur, Maddison, Van De Ven, Porro, Tels.
Extremely overrated: Tonali just passes the ball sideways
Robertson: level of crosses is poor for a winger, game decisions very poor.
Savio: Spent the game trying to take players on, lost the ball 18/20 times.
Marmous: Same as Savio
Fernandes: Theres a reason why West Ham were relegated and u paid 100Mil for this guy.
Absolute disgrace with the amount of money Spurs spent to be sitting on 17th.
Meanwhile you leave the striker that saved you from Relegation on the bench.
Horrible excuses.
Spurs. the only club with players bought late, players at the world cup and players injured.
They only spent 400 million. Can't win with mercenaries. 😂
De zerbi is acting like Mourinho
Jobs too big for him, too much pressure, waffling
Poch in!🎉
Lol all the fake Korean fans have disappeared since son is gone
He says what we the fans see.. it looks good moving forward as we know the problems as clewr as day
I feel like Conte he's gonna combust really soon
Remember how Frank age like 10 years before February, looks like its going to happen with RDZ .
You travel to Australia right before a season start’s after nearly getting relegated absolutely ridiculous
“You say your late , but you’re very late”😭😭🤣🤣🤣
Worst goal drought for the start of a league season for our whole 144 year history. Let that sink in people.
It just goes to show that it's not about how much you spend to win games. We have an exceptional training ground, quality players and NO goals so far. So disappointing. We must be cursed.
