I’m pretty sure actually that one of the reasons Friar Laurence agrees to help Romeo and Juliet marry is because he believes if they do marry it can help finally stop their long ass feud because that would tie their families together and kinsmanship, etc. I swear, the tragedy isn’t that they can’t be together, the tragedy is that the impulsiveness and pressure put on most if not all the characters leads them to untimely, easily avoidable deaths! I also am not sure if Romeo knew Rosiline was a capulet. It kinda points in some adaptations that he’s surprised to find out she’ll be at the party when he reads the names of the guests.
I quite like finding these mistakes because it shows you perfectionism is truly unnecessary. Stop worringing about the details and just write! Create! Even Shakespeare didn't worry about the little things and look how well he did!
With Romeo and Juliet I think that might have been an intentional joke, and if not I will now for ever read it as no one giving a fuck and Romeo and Juliet just being the most dramatic ever
Shakespeare though that lions ran around ancient Rome wild, like coyotes on the outskirts of modern suburbs in American and Canada (coyotes have spread across North America.)
You know, you might consider this setup for each presentation, as it gives us all a better view of how much work your upper lip does pronouncing all these fanciful English words! I know, I’m sorry, it’s that once I saw it, I couldn’t stop seeing it. I looked elsewhere! Clavicles, neck, nostril wrinkles, Lennon frames. Yes, I was listening to what you were saying. It was very well written, but that’s a forgone conclusion.

Very funny. Thank you. "I don't think that is what the best playwright should be doing." "For fun." 🙏
LOVE the Ophelia reference presentation
"Padjock" is used in the book "The Horse and his boy", in the chronicles of narnia.
I thought you were in an actual pond for this, and then I spotted the telltale blue of an inflatable pool 😂
Will liked metaphors a lot. Teenagers have an annoying tendency to pedantry and literalism and crooked sunglasses.
At almost 3 minutes I thought this was the video.
Great stuff though. I just no longer feel I need to see the full length one.
Wait, Hamlet takes place over a decade? I've read it a few times and always thought it's like a couple of weeks or something.
You are the quintessential cultural party pooper. Well done you…😡
Wait, Shakespearian England had Chimney Sweeps???

I think the lack of a genuine issue in Romeo and Juliet is part of the point tho. Something about being dramatic as youths or something like that
I like how you can see the reflection of the mic in the glasses.

Dare i say, Shakespeare was in fact never at any point perfect and he was in fact just some guy
I was looking at the reflection of the camera setup in the glasses the whole time. I don't know whats going on there, it seems wild.

Thanks for shooting those words across the screen faster than anyone can possibly read them so that they are absolutely useless
Shakespeare- he's no Charles Dickens!
VVilliam Shakespeare? You mean the 17th Earl of Oxford.
I love this 😂😂 the pythonesk bit at the end was great!
Justice for my boy Malvolio. Shakespeare did him unbelievably dirty.
Will: these aren't mistakes! They're creative liberties!! 😂
best set to talk about shakespear
i think they need to do halfsubmurged lectures in universities
I'm going to try to bring back unsuflicate!

Maybe then, perhaps, he wasn’t actually the best playwright ever
Are you just finding this out? You speak as though you personally had discovered this.
