  1. I'm an English teacher. I've been recommending your videos to my students for about 4 years, but this was the first time I'd watched one all the way through with a student. Guessing the words without sounds was a challenge for both of us – not surprising, since, as hearing people, we use our ears to distinguish sounds, without thinking about it. Perhaps this video could be valuable to someone who's learning to lipread?

  2. Perfect mastery of sounds articulation, great job. To all pronunciation lovers here wish you the best of the best. The tongue is powerful

  3. I really love your videos. They helped me alot and I'm really thankful for that. I wanted to ask a question and I think it is relatable to this lesson, maybe. I've got problem with pronouncing "ignore". Cause I heard someone said that this word has to be pronounced like /ɪŋnɔːr/. But the one that I had learned is /ɪɡˈnɔːr/. I'm so confused. Could you please answer this?

  4. Hello, Rachel. I like your videos very much, and have learned a lot from them. Now I have a question about the pronunciation of n, especially when a word there is z after n, for example the word chimpanzee, there is a zi: pronunciation after n, when I pronounce this word, it's difficult. I wonder if you could show me how to pronounce it. Thank you very much and looking forward to hearing from you.

  5. I feel like I'm learning how to read lips and pernounce things at the same time! I hope there are more like this!!! °^°

(I'm a native English speaker, by the way, but I still find these quite entertaining!)

  6. The pronunciation is very hard for me. I watched a lot of videos on youtube but the teachers just talked about the sound and didn't talk about the mouth position and the tongue so much. But everything was clear after i had watched your videos. Thank you so much indeed. hello from Vietnam

  7. Wow.
What you do is just AMAZING!! Seriously, you're the best. It's SO CLEAR to understand and see the differences! I'm glad we have you and your unique way to teach.

(By the way, I love your natural looking. This seems to reflect on the way you teach and that's why it's so easy and natural to connect with you and to understand you.

    You deserve the best.
    Thank you!
