No point saying you wouldn't put kids into our academy because they won't get in our first team.
Most kids won't get in most premier league first teams.
The difference is the education they get and the chance and level they eventually get it at. The likes of Lankshear might not have got a chance at Boro but not for the time he's had at Spurs. Same for Scarlett, same for them all really.

I wrote an article after Harry Kane had played 4 games that everyone (esprcially Adebayor) could and should learn from Harry Kane's mentality and proposed mentality training. After 4 games. It was patently obvious to a winning mentality, the mentality he had, but it was invisible to the standard person. Simply trying to win is not a winning mentality, that is merely bog standard. There is a world above that.
I like Tim, but he's talking absolute nonsense. 'No player has ever won a Ballon d'Or having won a world cup and having a good season?' Even Rodri won it having won a Euro, the Prem, and a semi final in the champions league. Harry Kane has goals against German clubs for a side that's head and shoulders above everybody. And he's choked multiple times in International tournaments. Especially in the Euro final vs Italy. And he no showed the UCL final for Spurs. Class player, but he's not Ballon d'Or worthy.
The plan fir Richarlison might be for him to look to sign for Trabzonspor if Spurs make him a free agent. If Spurs look to rip up his contract, they should do so under terms with a condition he doesn't sign for Trabzonspor or he faces a big financial penalty AND that if he signs for anyone else in the next 12 months he repays any amount paid by Spurs to rip up his contract. Hope the lawyers are up to it!!
The Academy players are not given the chances that are required for their development, its better to give the Academy kids like LWB 15 to 20 mins every PL game as a true understudy
