Best Surprise Travel Day Ever 1514

This was sooooo fun! Adley, Niko, and Navey had no idea any of this was happening and Jenny and I loved surprising them. We went about our normal morning routine, getting cereal, packing lunch, and getting ready for school. The kiddos had no idea that we had cameras set up around the kitchen to capture this moment. We chatted about what they had at school that day, what they were looking forward to, all the while knowing that they weren’t going. Everyone got 100% ready when i pretended to get a phone call. After that, we decided we should have a little chat as Dad, Mom, and kiddos. The kiddos knew something was up, however they did not see it coming that we needed to leave for the airport in about 20 minutes.

Jenny had already prepacked their bags and we had them hidden in the garage. We grabbed our bags, packed our carry on’s with ipads, art supplies, and snacks. Everything we would need on the long plane ride. We get to the airport and get ready to get on the plane. We realize that this will be Enzo’s very first plane ride and our first trip as a whole family since Enzo was born. Did you guys realize that he is almost one years old? Birthday vlog coming soon.

On the plane, Jenny, Adley, and Navey are sitting together while Niko, Enzo, myself, and Saedie are all together. Oh, did I mention that Saedie was coming with us. We are going to need an extra set of hands with all these crazy kiddos and we thought, who better than my awesome sister! During the flight, Adley draws some great pictures, Niko and Navey play games, and Enzo is a little crazy. He’s looking out the window, scrolling through all the movies, and doing that kiss to Jenny that looks like he’s trying to eat her lol!

When we land, we are waiting for a bus to our hotel. The kiddos have lots of energy after the long flight, so we have an epic game of freeze tag right there in the airport. They are fast, but dad is faster. I’m only defeated when Navey recruits Saedie to be on their team. On the bus to the hotel, Niko plays with slime, Adley puts a “honk” sign on the window, while Navey feels more magical the closer we get.

We get to our room and find that its too rooms combine. After a quick tour, Niko jumps from bed to bed as we decide that its a boys room vs a girls room. I’ll take care of Niko and Enzo, while Jenny and Saedie watch Adley and Navey. We head out to find some dinner and while we are walking, we see a frog jumping. I quickly catch it and we all take turns holding it. We show it to Enzo, who is having a ton of firsts today. Jenny panics a little as we show it to him, she thinks the frog is going to jump out of my hands and onto his face.

The vlog ends when Adley and Saedie can’t sleep so they have a dance party on the balcony. These are going to be some fun vlogs. I’m so excited for you guys to come with us!!
