  1. Hebrews 11:7
    King James Version
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

All praise and glory belongs to almighty God 🙏❤️

  2. The black smoke is an important part of the story that shouldn't simply be treated as an impressive visual effect. A burning F-16 is a complex mixture of aviation fuel, plastics, composites, wiring insulation, lubricants, hydraulic materials and other aircraft components, and incomplete combustion produces particulate matter and numerous combustion products. In addition, this particular crash involved hydrazine, a highly toxic chemical associated with the F-16's emergency power unit. Authorities specifically established a one-mile evacuation zone, and first responders and some members of the public were subsequently treated as potentially exposed to hydrazine.

I would, however, separate two issues. Acute exposure to the smoke or hydrazine can cause symptoms relatively quickly, including coughing, wheezing and breathing difficulty; Munson Medical Center specifically advised potentially exposed people to watch for those symptoms. Long-term consequences are much harder to establish. It is reasonable to be concerned that inhaling substantial quantities of combustion products or toxic chemicals could have consequences that aren't immediately apparent, but it would be inaccurate to say that health problems from this particular smoke exposure will appear 20–30 years later. Establishing such a connection would require knowing what someone inhaled, at what concentration, for how long, and what subsequent epidemiological or medical evidence shows.

That distinction actually makes the neighbor's account more disturbing: what people could see was the black smoke and explosions, while some of the potential hazards were invisible. The immediate danger was obvious enough that police ordered people away, but the possible chemical exposure is precisely why authorities treated the crash as a hazardous-material incident rather than merely a spectacular aircraft fire.

  3. The hydrazine on board is the most dangerous thing. If you came in contact with it or inhaled it, it can really mess you up. It's kept on board these planes in case of engine failure so it can power electrical and hydraulic features on the aircraft such as the ejection seat

  4. Once that pilot gets out of the hospital he is in for a mountain of paperwork to be filled out. That's an expensive wreck. I think it's incredible how pilots can eject from a fighter jet and survive with a full recovery. It's obvious what would happen without the ejection feature.
