I visited the market there this week. You get the Yes sir come in, please, you see, then walking next to you very often. You get the ones telling you they work at your hotel, the ones telling you they are an organiser etc for anything you want. Although Harry appears to be a pleasant lad, the video is inaccurate for non Arabic speakers. We were physically untouched, no issue there, but it does become irritating even though you know to expect it and you know it will happen to you as well. A separate issue was being out late, it only happened once, but on leaving a bar gone midnight, we were followed by a bloke with some kind of hook shaped long wooden thing, then another attempted pick pocket, but when you stand and face them, they walked off. The tourist police and normal police are out all the time and have a good presence though.

It's your camera mate 😂 they are very wary , without camera , once you give your name , note! They always ask your name , from then on your are tortured !! You are there just one day ,no ? 3 o 4 days there , they don't forget your name , shouting after you and grabbing your arm , your video is not a true portrayal !!, inside the bigger shops less hassle , but those sat outside , !! Do t give them your name and don't speak unless you see something that you really want , probably get it for half the price that ask for with a lot of bartering , but stressful there 😂
