Richmond Receives $33M Grant to Upgrade Water Treatment Plant

Richmond is set to receive nearly $33 million in state funding to upgrade its water treatment plant, improving reliability and water quality after last year’s crisis. The Commonwealth Public Safety Memorial added 23 new names honoring heroes lost in the line of duty, bringing the total to 1,006. Plus, Dirty Dancing The Musical arrives in Richmond September 22-27, and the weather forecast calls for muggy conditions with isolated showers today.
