We wanted one that was the same size as the 7 but a normal smartphone size screen on the outside. NOT a short squatty tablet. The old one was fine because you could easily fit it in your pocket. They ignored what we have been asking for and went straight to this tiny tablet which is NOT what anyone wanted.

Samsung already made people buy foldable phones and hence they are at the top of the foldable market iphone foldable is gonna make no change people really dont pay attention to iphone foldable compare to what samsung is doing with theirs making samsung foldables hype a lot more than apples

I'm excited for the Wide (assuming it comes to fruition), because I found the aspect ratio on the Fold 7 to be aesthetically displeasing. I'm loving the S26 Ultra though, so, I dont want to switch if i have to sacrifice features. Apple's foldable will be interesting…
Theres no excuse to have that size battery it's honestly exhausting at this point Samsung always drops the ball somewhere and it seems like they just don't want to give the people what really matters!!

Battery life is only an issue for ones that don't know how to use the battery save mode. On my fold 7 i can get several days battery life flawlessly.
I passed on the s26 ultra for the wide. If the wide doesn't look worth it I'll get the 26 ultra.
