  1. With the nanny story this is a work place for her. I think it’s completely fair to not be okay with sex in the house happening. If she could talk with the parents and just request they let her know to take the kid out of the house for a bit or something so she’s not in the house during it.

  2. The nanny can plan to take the baby to the park, enjoy Gracie's Corner with the surround sound system on, if it's naptime put the baby down & put on headphones, etc. A wealth of options are available to mind your business while consenting adults are taking advantage of time they don't have to worry about their baby. Mom Boss is probably worried about the baby hearing overnight & here's the nanny being as quiet as possible in the middle of the day to be able to make out a slight bed-rocking noise. 🙄

  3. I worked in assisted living and we did have to let some residents know that they should lock their doors or answer when we know so we don't walk in on their "activities". They have every right to do what they do where they live, even if people work there. Lord knows it's awkward but they're human and it's where THEY LIVE, doesn't matter if you work there

  4. He isn't respecting your need for sleep and this is also abuse. He is purposefully causing you emotional and physical harm and stress by waking you up. Sleep is important and lack of it can cause long term harm. You tried to help him love you in the right way. You are not the asshole

  5. Wow, the nanny girl sounds like an entitled brat and super controlling. The fact that she even asked them really shows who she is as a person in my opinion.

  6. 33:33 what if theyre trying to get pregnant and are having a really hard time getting pregnant so theyre tracking her cycle and trying everything they can to make it work.
Honestly id just go outside and find something to do w the child and give them their time

  7. As a childcare worker: those things are exhausting. Children can get themselves into deadly scenarios in a matter of seconds and will do so without constant supervision. Parents pay a nanny sometimes so they can have alone time together. Her job is to create that opportunity for them, in some capacity, by caring for the child.

Edit: they gave her severance? Who are these angels and do they still need a babysitter or maybe a personal chef?

  8. the nanny story- girl that's exactly what a nanny does, take care of the children so the parents can have work/alone time and for $32/hour with only one child I would be taking the baby on a walk so they can have some more privacy HELLO

  9. Im trusting to a fault. I would get the sex toy package and just immediately assume it was an accident and laugh it off. I would not have questioned it.. Im thankful i married a good man or else i would be screwed.

  10. Is it that surprising to spend some private alone time with your significant other? I feel like it was a common thing in all my relationships

  11. For the first story: Im sorry… Sleep deprivation?!?!?! That means that you haven't slept at all, not because you lost 30 seconds to a minute of sleep. I understand taht she doesn't want to be woken up, but I feel like its a over reaction that she said its "sleep deprivation". Missing a minute of sleep doesn't do that.

  12. Yes, the nanny was being weird and way too nosy etc, BUT this is in no way comparable to a roommate situation, when you hire a nanny your house becomes her workplace during work hours and it's not appropriate to sex in the workplace 🤷‍♀️

  13. The nanny wasn’t overreacting for wanting them not to do that when she’s working. She is an employee. They are her employers. There is a responsibility to uphold professionalism on both ends. If she’s holding up her end and they are not, she has every right to bring it up. Idk about you but I don’t want to be around people doing that while I have no choice but to be there. They are two grown adults, they can wait until she leaves. Unless she knows for sure that they are doing that, she shouldn’t say anything. But as soon as it becomes obvious, she should absolutely say something
