The V3 London gun was designed as revenge weapon by Germany and designed to be permanently aimed at London 100 miles away. If fully built this would have been the longest gun in history. With a barrel over 440 feet long, that could hurl projectiles at speeds in excess of Mach 4. The Germans were built a huge underground complex in Northern France that was designed to house 25 of these guns to ensure a continuous bombardment of London. You can visit during the summer months

How do you aim it ?
Saddam Hussein almost acquired an even bigger version of the V3 gun. But the designer was assassinated before he was able to finish it.
Nice work on the video!!
Have you thought of doing videos on small arms? Like rifles, pistols, shotguns, machineguns and rocket launchers used in current and past military history?
Easily the most fascinating subject you've done. Outstanding work BPP as always. I knew about the V3 but never knew the details. Thank you and Merry(Happy) Christmas to all of you at BPP and all your
What is it about dictators and their superweapons?
A modern version of such a cannon was supposed to be built in Iraq as part of the Babylon project. It was being created by Gerald Bull on the orders of Saddam Hussein. The project fell apart in 1990 after Gerald Bull was murdered.
A beautiful example of colossal waste of effort and resources on creating a single-use weapon, designed to strike a target of no military significance.
W Polsce w Międzyzdrojach – Zalesiu jest również Bunkier – Muzeum broni V3.
Broń typu kutas strzelająca tylko w jedno miejsce XD Albo pas. Im więcej takich kretyńskich wynalazków tym bardziej obciążało to niemiecką machinę wojenną.
Something is telling me that the world would be a better place if the germans have win
These Weapon also had a Flaw, nobody know about at that time. 4 times the Speed of Sound… Air Friction could heat the Nose and let it Melt the ignition System. Perhaps it would ignite over the Sea
Great content ❤

А по русски можно?
Mythomanie…nooon, vous déconnez là ! 😮😮😮
50 rounds an hour is a Gunner's dream and a Logistical + Technical Nightmare and hence an Impossibility. That would literally mean the barrel would be changed EVERYDAY… all 350 feet barrels of all those parallel barrels aligned one beside another…
Forget titanium, you need Adamantium for this kind of a nonsensical design…
madness, will just make the brits angrier
Excellent video, thank you for your work.
The Japanese dub sounds like SoraTheTroll
I don't understand, it always shoots at the same I don't understand, it always shoots at one point? How to aim and aim? Or did they build structures hundreds of meters underground to throw crowbars at the same house every day?
type shit they were making instead of getting the tiger's transmission to actually work
