Did PUBG Just Create a Potential G-Coin Exploit?

*Could PUBG players get G-Coins at almost 70% off?* Krafton’s October Store Update has announced the removal of certain crates and keys from PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS and the Steam Community Market. But the compensation promised to players who hold these items could create an unexpected opportunity — if the rewards work the way they might.

In this video, I break down the announcement, examine the current Steam Marketplace prices, and explain how certain PUBG keys could potentially be worth 250 G-Coins each when the items are removed in December.

Here’s the speculation: if Krafton compensates players with G-Coins equivalent to the in-game store value of these keys, buying them on Steam could offer a dramatically cheaper way to acquire G-Coins. Based on the prices examined in this video, the potential discount could approach *70% compared with the regular G-Coin price.*

But there’s a catch. Krafton has not confirmed that compensation will be paid in G-Coins. The wording in the announcement remains unclear, and the eventual rewards could be something entirely different. Steam Marketplace prices could also rise or fall as more information becomes available.

I also look at the crates themselves, which are eligible for compensation but have no obvious in-game store value to use as a guide.

This is not about using cheats, hacking the game, or exploiting a software vulnerability. It’s about potentially taking advantage of announced changes to PUBG’s item system and the compensation Krafton has said will be provided to players holding the affected items. You’re simply purchasing and holding items that are currently available on the Steam Marketplace. The opportunity discussed here is speculative, and Krafton has yet to clarify exactly how compensation will work.

This is an analysis of a potential opportunity based on Krafton’s announcement, not a confirmed G-Coin exploit or a guarantee of returns. I’m not telling you to buy these items. Do your own research and understand the risks before making any decisions.

  1. g-coin is a scam, much like steam, they want to move everything under their control for profit, they should ban all cases/keys/in-game currencies in all games, no more loot boxes.

  2. Last time Krafton paid out for old weapon skins they gave 200 per weapon skills they removed from the game. Most weapon skins in the in-game store at 900 G-Coin. They gave roughly 25% or market value.

  3. My in-game free G coins expire and go away unused. I continue to use the same skin I've used for years. I thank everyone who use lots of white-colored skins, especially the snow ghillie, since those are the easiest to see from a distance. Special shout out to those who wear the headless turkey skin. 🤠

  4. so for us console players that get a week in advance to prepare for the patch we will not be speculating we will know the value of the crates? we can buy tons of crates with BP before the patch and that BP will convert to GC
