Out of all eps, this was the most doctor who ep in ncuti's series. God how i would have loved to see the darkness come out in ncuti's doctor. He never got to deal with daleks or cybermen or sontarans or weeping angels. Goddamnit

This is one of the greatest moments of Ncuti Gatwas Doctor Who career I absolutely adore his performance. And I sure do hope that everybody else enjoyed this episode. That’s all I have to say about that. I am so glad that they revisited this story David Tennant’s episode was kind of spooky. And that’s all I have to say about that.

I like Ncuti a lot, but he deserved better than RTDS stale writing and over reliance on nostalgia. Also too many DROPPED BALLS. I’m looking at YOU OMEGA AND SUTEKH
He deserved so much better as The Doctor. He could have shined during the golden era

This is a great example of a terrifying villain. There are plenty of scary villains in Doctor Who but the doctor first encountered them while alone on a holiday. It didn't want to take over the world. It just wanted to escape and would kill without reason. It's probably still floating out there somewhere. The only reason the doctor even met the creature was because a bus took a different route. The doctor meets the entity twice. One in a benign circumstance and second time he meets it he has the planet nuked. Think about that, the daleks, the angels, the master, all enduring villains who want world domination but that's also how they present themselves. The entity is just a long living sole entity yet it inspires more fear for the doctor then any who villain has before.

Why couldn't Russel have just made more episodes like this? Its like for one episode we went back to what made the 2005 reboot so great
I always loved how The Doctor faces the possible devil (The Beast Below) and that is still less frightening than the Midnight entity

That is a great episode. Stick with what works. Many other things did not and I don't understand why?
This midnight creature and the skin creatures are the scariest by far because you don't know what they are

The doctor took way too long. There's just no way that this guy is in any way a gallifreyin genius.

Thank every single god old and new that Disney has canceled the rest of the new Doctor who, and we don't have to continue to see how this controversy would continue.
Also the new doctor quit halfway through before The apologists start complaining, and so did his companion, so there's that…
