I’m used to photographing birds and other quick animals, so this project was a real change of pace for me. Zing!
I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been designing next year’s calendar and working on the book. Also, I tend to start projects in the spring and finish them later in the year. Becorns is a very seasonal pursuit. Lots of good things in the works!

The turtle who hung out in my grandfather's garden used to take one big bite out of the biggest, ripest strawberries which always seemed a high price to pay for their acting as garden guardian. Guess this critter was just passing through, and wasn't in need of refueling. It's always good to offer a bite, just in case though.
