Labour divisions over immigration reforms come under fire as ministers face questions over proposals for a 15-year wait before permanent residency.
Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by Emma Trimble, a fellow at the New Culture Forum, broadcaster and commentator, to discuss whether the Government is committed to tackling the migrant crisis.
Ms Trimble argues for tougher settlement requirements, while Kevin accuses the Cabinet of being divided over the proposed crackdown.

A government that has the home office run by immigrants and mahmood is practising taqiyya. When will this madness ever end. I feel like russia invading might not be so bad 😂
Country is dying fast.
It’s too late now. Th ex British people need to defend themselves now from these young fighting age muslim men who are only here to take over and harm us. Defend your life and your family and I pray that God will intervene
Turn to the Lord Jesus Christ He is the only way you will be saved 🙏🙏
How is an African dictating our energy policy?
To start cancelling the government giving the BBC funding.
I want my money back. I didn’t vote for this. I shouldn’t have to pay for it.
And take a shot when they say 'look I'm a refugee ' (loads of them mention it )
Britain's obvious refusal to stop the wave of migrants is rooted in fear. Fear of saying "No". Fear of what will happen to their country if they ever do. It's safer to fund it than fight it.
There are as many definitions of what a 'proper Brexit' would like as there are people who wanted it. It is – and was always going to be – a farce. Dismantling the Quangocracy is a whole other story. Let's hope some government, sometime, gets around to it. (Unfortunately, cronyism dictates that quangos are chock-full of friends of government ministers and others embedded within the Westminster Bubble.)
I am not sure that a simple time criterion for long-term right to remain or citizenship makes sense. Someone who has stayed in the UK living on benefits for fifteen years is not the same proposition as someone who has been in the country for five and works or runs a legitimate business.
Remember Never Forgive & Never Forget this LIEbour government EVER – they are to BLAME – they LIED to You about EVERYTHING

France coming to the UK soon, fix it Andy and Angela! 😂
There is no consent necessary for the government to consider. The people's consent
isn't an aspect to British politics. The people are the property of state.
This problem will get far worse as the immigration numbers rise, immigrants want to import more of their kind to make Britain more like their homeland, and like this immigrant will be opening the floodgates and there is nothing ethnic Brits will be able to do about it. I feel sorry for our kids and grand children.
Nigerian DNA holding the door wide open for every kind of immigration and the dissolution of WHITE ENGLAND under the Banner of British values 😂
