Harry Kane has won the Ballon d’Or, and even Italy is celebrating! 🇮🇹🏆
As an Italian football fan, I couldn’t be happier for one of the most complete strikers I’ve ever watched. From his incredible World Cup performances to his extraordinary goalscoring record, Kane has finally received the recognition he deserves.
But what makes this moment even more special is the admiration he’s receiving from Italian football fans.
A truly special player. A well-deserved award!

Hyped and liked.
Anyone with a rational Brain should’ve celebrated yesterday!!!
He is the greatest English player ever. Thank you.
A Captain leads from the front. So many strikers stay up field. Not Harry Kane. Hes helping defence. Holding midfield. Back defence then runs full field scores. Complete footballer. To him its normal.
Grazie, Harry. 🙏🏽
My observation is this: he is simple man, a great athlete, and a special goal scorer. Yet, on a deeper level, he displays integrity, truth, and an understanding of values in real life. This is what we yearn for in football, but more importantly, it’s another example of what the men and women of Europe are missing: An honest man, doing his job to the best of his ability, and through that, encouraging us all to employ these wonderful gifts and attributes to our own lives. Truth, integrity, and an enthusiastic adherence in our daily work will see us all through to much more than football, but a wonderful exciting pursuit of our best lives with our families, in the remaining time we have left. That’s all that matters. Thanks, Harry. 🙏🏽
Thank you for your kind words. To see the headline on La Gazzetta dello Sport made me feel incredibly proud as an Englishman. I grew up watching Italian football in the late 80s and 90s and for a long time I felt that our footballers were inferior to those of Italy and other great footballing nations. But not anymore. It’s clear that most people around the world love Harry Kane, he has wowed them with his amazing football ability and unique playing style, but also charmed them with his kindness and humble personality. What a man!
its a well deserved accolade..at coventry city we have 2 players that might well end up in madrid, barca or milan…jack rudoni and bobby thomas…both are exceptional in a struggling side
Harry Kane is a phenonemal player and always was. I have been a massive fan of his ever since I first saw him play. In England this opinion is uncommon – or was. Until recently when I said Kane is world class people generally dismissed the claim. Some laughed at the idea. The majority of England fans actually wanted him dropped and replaced by Watkins. They couldn't see that his talent was being wasted both by Spurs and England. Now this award finally shuts up the doubters. Best of all, I like Kane as a person too. He seems an incredibly humble guy. Makes me proud of this England team. And seeing Italy cheering for him too makes me love Italy all the more.
Yamal showing that he’s just an immature boy in the presence of a real man.
it was a award and not an entitlement, it makes a welcome change .
Really weird as the Kane appears (briefly) to have nullified the Anti-English sentiment from those countries who normally would deride ANYTHING English : Wonders never cease, utterly baffled but pleasantly surprised
WELL SAID !!! 🎉 Thank you for those words!
Barry Keano he rule the familyyyy
E vabbè dai non hanno mai vinto un cazzo di niente del pallone d'oro non fotte una minchia a nessuno.
People are loving this because it shows you dont have to play for Barcelona or Madrid, you just have to be good.
Kane winning is proof also Totti was right he would have won bdor if he left Roma
Beautifully said my friend! It's awesome that so many Italians are celebrating him winning the Ballon D'or.I know football is a very tribal sport with us all but we can all appreciate an all round unbelievable footballer.🏴🤝🇮🇹
As Spurs fans, my family used to joke that having an 11-man team of only Harry Kanes would win every competition they competed in.
He is the best striker in the world, with the vision and passing ability that only KDB could reliably beat, with the defensive workrate that would make the Italian legends of old proud.
🏴💪🏻
Neschio,
Brilliant analysis of the Ballon d'or popularity contest !!!
And it's surprising to hear an Italian Soccer Analyst with the most grounded & objective take on this overhyped PopContest !
Very well done 👍
A pretty humble man
Sir Harry Kane. Such a good example and fine person. A gentleman very humble and kind. family man.
Englands greatest ever striker by some margin.
Thank you sir , its quite unusual for a Italian to commend a English player , many English can say good things about Italian footballers.
Very pleased for Harry he has worked very hard in his career to get this prestigious award.
In Kane I just see a player who through hard work and dedication has absolutely extracted every last bit of talent out of himself. And he's done it with humility and class, a gentleman as opposed to a prima donna. There's never any scandal or controversy, he's the perfect role model for young people to aspire to.
You have a new subscriber. I love your warmth and passion for football.
Jude Saka next I JN
First of all, I love the San Siro on the wall behind you, that is my favourite stadium and it's a tragedy that it's going, but I'm sure the new stadium will also be amazing. Italy is a real footballing country, so what the Italian fans think really means something. I hear some people from other rival football nations going on about the world cup this year, but the tactics were wrong in that semi final match, the loss was not on Kane or any individual. The other players on the short list are so talented, but Kane executes so well on the pitch, I can't think the others are any better in that sense.
great video.. completely agree with everything you said about kane. and your english is absolutely fine.
As a Bayern fan I thought we bought him too late. I was wrong.
Doesn't deserve it at all. He's nowhere near the best player not even in the top 100. Scoring a load of goals past league 1 standard opposition is nothing special.
nice video, i feel every word from you. 🙂 greatings from Germany
Harry Kane deserved this! I think players that don't draw too much attention off the field (often because they are family people, lack of 'swag') don't get the recognition they deserve. I've seen it happen for years with KDB. He only some sort of real recognition by the end of his career while if you look at his whole career he's been consistently amazing. Bets midfielder the prem has ever seen. But hey, he's boring outside football so let's not recognize that.
Kane was the most humble going into the Ballon D'or. He is the best person out of the main 3 that got voted, it was about time someone who didn't play for Barca or Real Madrid won it. I think Kane deserves it 100%. Yes Kane won it with Bayern, but isn't that harder than winning it with Real Madrid or Barcelona? I think Italians probably love it because of that. Its nice to have someone a bit different for a change.
This doesn’t surprise me at all. Italians always respect British football.
Some lovely comments here from my European friends, not arguing based on country just happy for a normal lad with an extraordinary talent, even if he wasn’t your first pick ❤
He deserves it.
We all deserve to see Italy back in the World Cup too !
Kane is Irish😊
