  3. VTI is the only stock I still hold. Once I retired I transitioned to dividend stocks . Riskier ones. Not interested in growth any more, cuz life changes.

  4. From NY. I started investing a week ago. I started with $2,000, now I am over $10,000 It's a great start with stock market. Thank you both for the information. Peace Power and love

  5. The 4 Funds should correlate to different income streams. My recommendation is;
    – Capital Growth (VOO+QQQ/QQQM/VXUS)
    – Dividends (SCHD)
    – Bonds (AGG or BND)
    – REITs (VNQ)

  6. Funny enough, I’m 18, and those are the exact 4 that I have, plus VTV. Roth is just about maxed out, and I have another ~$5k in my standard.

  7. Nah. Not following your flawed advise. Too concentrated. Minimal international exposure. No fixed income present.
    And by the way, these are not index funds, they're ETFs.
    Didn't even get that right.
