  1. finally get to click on this video now that the title is the correct one! it's not common nowadays for channels to write episode numbers of series in the video title, so it'd be a real shame to lose that here too.

  2. YouTube is being weird again. It didn't send me a notification about this video, even tho I'm subscriber and have bell notifications set to "all". But it DOES recommend it to me on the main page! WTH YT?

  3. I was so positive that Natalie was the one with the blank card, just because she seemed to be making it up, and having trouble figuring out what to say. Getting the name wrong (Balloonagans instead of Balloonatics) just added to the effect. Now, I see that’s just great acting to throw Tom off!

  4. I knew who it was just from the cadence with which they told the story…

    Spoilers:

Chris' cadence was exactly the same as the Henricus story in this one, I could tell he was making it up

  5. I've met so many people having trouble with left and right that 15% sounded low.
The troubling thing is that many of these people have drivers licenses. I hope you know which side you drive on.
Never heard the L thing because it don't work in my language. I learned that right is the hand you shake hands with and that worked for me.

  6. This takes me.back to the election count for the AV referendum, someone had ranked their preferences of yes and no.
And they ranked 'no' as 1. Nobody was sure whether they were being incredibly smart and ridiculing AV, or TRYING to be smart and cocking it up royally.
It was Camden so either option was entirely possible…

  7. In the long, long ago, when i was oh so much younger. I knew some folk who could only tell their left from their right, by holding up their hands and the making "L" with each hand, and then comparing. Weeeellll… Some of them forgot which way the bottom part went to make a proper "L", and were awful confused all over again.

  8. lol i usually relate to the pedantry but this time the brannan hypermobility discussion feels Very "my friend group could plausibly have this exact same conversation"

  9. I call bull that Gary has kids and never had to find a way to teach them left from right and didn't stumble across your left hand makes an L.

Every day at the moment I'm putting Luigi socks on the correct foot of my Mario-obsessed 4 year old.

  10. The sudden smash cut to a black screen wthout any kind of outro or fake reward feels really unsatisfying. Doing the envelope draw before the intro also feels weird, but it's not as distracting as just how quickly the video just… ends. You gotta let us down gently after laughing so much!

  11. In the first wide shot, my first thought every time is somehow that Natalie is giving us the finger and that's why you're blurring her hands 😂 My brain catches up quick though, chased by "they wouldn't blur a middle finger though" – as evidenced by the end of the episode 😀

  12. Could whoever writes these cards take one of Gary’s random facts, tweak it slightly, and bring it back in a future episode, or polar opposite facts just for fun 🙂

  13. Didn't Gary say (in one of the Citation Needed episodes….) that if you really want to tell the candidates what you think. Spoil the voting paper and they will all have to stand around and read your comments in front of the other candidates. As part of the adjudication.
