I Hacked My E-Bike To Earn Power-Ups

E-bikes give you the reward without the work. So I hacked my Specialized Levo to make me earn it: pedal hard to collect power-ups, then spend them on bursts of Turbo. It took some hacking, and probably the risk of smoking the stock TCU.

  1. I don't think that Nintendo No dying device completely failed, but probably helped developers realize that they should incorporate development cheat codes to be kept hidden inside the game as active instead.
    😅
I would credit it as one of the led items further game file research and understandings, hidden stuff, custom game mods, into what we have today.

  2. Seth I really appreciate the 1 0 hose bit I'm so happy you didn't just ask ai to spit out something awful but you took the time to 3d print some numbers and film it I see you I appreciate you

  3. Amflows could probably do that with just a software update which would be cool.
On the other hand I've not updated since the navigation patch as the next one was bricking batteries.

  4. Hi Seth,

This probably won't reach you, but I have a 2018 Haibike XDURO Nduro 8.0 with the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen 2 motor.

I would love to see a video about this motor and what's possible in terms of hacking.

Since I do a lot of technical climbing, I really miss the "Extended Boost" feature from the Gen 5 motor. A little extra power (maybe just for a few seconds, so you don't fry the electronics?) would be nice too 😉

I'd also love to see the interval mode you made for the Levo, ideally with adjustable settings and the ability to customize the modes in which you do the intervals.

I probably won't hack my motor, but I'd love to see what's possible!

    Greetings from Germany! 🙂

  5. This could unlock a whole new sport, "limited-E-bike racing" or "Mario Kart E-bike racing" with power-ups, power penalties, or team components like power sharing. (You earn power, and your buddy can use it) or groupride. The leader doesn't get power, while the one in the back gets more

  6. Any guesses when Specialized sends a cease and desist fo designing the bike UX they should have made?

I just threw up in my mouth a little typing "bike UX" but that's the world we live in now.

  7. I could use this info when i go to build my own e trike tadpole I plan on going far beyond just a normal ebike. One thing i am planning is making it something that can be registered as a normal ev But even before that i want 1 feature for sure and that is a boost mode it is quite easy to get ebikes of any sort up to traffic speed the one issue is passing if your top speed is 28mph passing a slower car can be a bit of a chore so a short boost to say 35mph for a few seconds would be a god send for sure. Your mushroom mode is pretty much the perfect solution a short duration boost to pass
