  1. You’re comparing a finishing powder with a highlighter, but you have the finishing powder linked, but you’re talking about the strobe powder and they are too completely different powders. The finishing powder is for finishing and the strobe powder is a highlighter.

  2. This convinced me to splurge on hourglass. No hate for Essence, they’re our hero and this is so good for ten times less. But a splurge is a splurge and i think that would last me for years. ❤

  3. Umm.. Is that 'Dim light' that you're calling a strobing powder? Dim light is an 'ambient lighting finishing' powder that is in the dark casing. The 'strobing' (highlighting) Hourglass powders are in Silver casings.
The finishing powders for sure do add luminosity, but the Strobing powders have a much more amplified glow!
A bit confused here? But no hate 🫶🏽

  4. Hi wich shade, is this Hourglass Powder.
I have the Essence Highlighter and you give me the idea to use this finishing Powder. Inlove the look, But I doesn’t like the feel on my Skin. So I want to buy the Houglass but got the wrong shade.

  5. The fake dupes have to stop. 🤦🏼‍♀️ If I didn’t have the money for everything to be high end I would save up and only buy a few great products. Spending your money on a bunch of garbage products is not the way to go.

  6. People acting like they can really see the difference between each side from the video. The quality isn’t even sharp enough to detect it lol. I don’t like any shimmer in my setting powders regardless of how finely milled they are. But the essence pure nude functions as a stunning lit from within highlighter. It can be built up but never looks chunky and glittery.

  7. We dont have essence brand easily available nor the nude highlighter (discontinued even in amazon) unless i wanna pay over £20 so..how does kiko milano baked fusion powder compare (the powder not the powder highlight). I used doll 10 illuminating powder and loved it but its discontinued and nowhere to be found here.

  8. I think dupe should be not only looking alike original but have same longevity and also close ingredients list-they are not so many dupes for hourglass powders as they are talc free, cruelty free and blurring effect that last all days. And even if you find something that give same effect after an hour or two you will see difference

  9. For anyone with mature skin, Hourglass is more blurring of fine lines and luxurious, I love that Hourglass donates 5% of all sales to help animals in captivity, and it lasts me three years
