I've never had an ingrown hair, but I've seen them and I always knew it was because of shaving and removing the natural hair.
I have never done that and I don't plan to. I only trim around half a centimeter and leave my hair be. I'm a mammal after all.

So my experience! Mine was half an inch above my belly button. After waiting two days, doing hot towel only the pain got real bad and there was a lot of reding. I did as the video said. It opened up. I then added pressure about 1 cm away and all this blood and gunk came out. Loads and loads. Had to wait and redo the towel twice then push more out. Pain has subsided, I hope this ends well
But…tweezers are so much faster…and I’m lazy
bruh i had an ingrown for 5+ months and never once touched it and it was awful and it ended up scarring. honestly now i keep getting them and i have one and i am so afraid of dealing with the months it takes for it to heal just for it to scar id rather try to remove it myself and reduce that time
So when you first use a tool like a tooth brush, on use water?, then if needed can salicylic acid CeraVe wash be used?
