Sounds to me the guy and the bicycle manufacturer found a loop-hole. And if they did..kudos.
This would be another reason people hate government.
What this story is missing is an audit of the company books. That would tell us if they were just being stupid with the gross proceeds of the sales and tax credits or if they were running a legitimate scam.
Happy to see this news coverage. I've been waiting for my bike since late 2025. Last email reply from Bear trail was around April. Since then no emails and call replies. Is there any advice for people on how to get our money back?

This is not a hill to die on. You see these e bikes everywhere just ditched and abandoned. And these are the people are scammers.
Is there an event now with the bikes? I have an order out with them.
