I've been struggling with C# for a course that requires me to use it.
I can't even run a proper 'Hello World" statement in VS Code.
What flaws are we not being told here? Visual Studio from what I understand is deprecated now. VS Code is what I have with an updated .Net as well. And yet nothing…
I am having a major trouble while setting up the environment for C# and .NET as I have downloaded the 8.0.100 version and in order to set the system path I need to provide the path of the Folder situated in C which should have an dotnet.exe file, But it is not there. Having done multiple Uninstalls and Installs also leaves me in a middle of nowhere !
How can I get rid of those annoying blue underlines telling me to pascal case my properties and naming conventions etc.. Turns out to be probably Roslyn. Before this, I noticed OmniSharp disappeared and vscode just automatically downloaded some sort of dotnet update.
I'm using vscode for unity, and these blue underlines are unnecessary cluttering my code view. I can't find the option to turn this off/on.
