  1. The first sentence is on point. Rubbish videos regarding vitamin D by so-called experts are annoying. Btw I am a “covered Islamic woman “ but my Vita D level is on point 😅

  2. This video came out Apr 15th 2020 just for reference. Probably saved countless lives of people who were vitamin D deficient at the time, this was the early beginning of C19. It's 3 years later and I know many of us owe our lives to people like Dr. Campbell for educating us on vitamin D.

  3. I and my family and some close friends have been taking for more than 3 years, 600,000IU in IM injections, every 90 days, but monitored by lab tests (of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3, serum).
Test results show levels between 60 and 80 ng/ml at the end of the first thirty days and then decreasing. Before we used 10,000 IU daily orally .

  4. I am convinced that we (as darker skinned) people get just enough vitamin D when when we are in the sun for the correct amount of time… my "lighter skinned" friends can't even spend time in the sun naturally, meaning, without sunscreens.. people of color need to get out of their homes and become outdoorsmen again..

  5. Thank you Dr for this important information. I Have been suffering from chronic sinusitis for the last 13 years.I will start taking V D with the hope to have some relief from the daily congestion .

  6. Thank you Dr Campbell for all your work on vitamin D I find it fascinating and my husband and I are now taking 5,000 iu of D3 and 200 mcg K2
My blood levels my doctor says are too high but I’m feeling great I haven’t caught Covid even though my son lives with us and he caught a bad case of Covid and was super sick for 2 weeks. He wasn’t taking vitamin D

  7. Hello Dr. Campbell, by looking how vitamin D can increase anti inflammatory molecules and decrease the inflammatory ones, I wonder would they be effective towards auto-immune diseases as well? Because as far as I know, auto-immunity is a result of inflammation caused by our own immune system by attacking our own organs. I am not a medical student so i may be completely wrong. But this is just a thought that came into my mind.

  8. I had my vitamin d lab done and was severely deficient. I started taking 8000 iunits a day and got just into the "normal" range. I feel a lot better now.

  11. I saw some research yesterday that said Yes! Vitamin D does reduce covid and covid hospitalizations! BUT only this special kind you can only get from a doctor! Not the kind you get over the counter! Oh gee, there's a surprise announcement. 🙂

  12. Great video. The topical content aside this video stands as a great demonstration of how to "research something online" properly. Too often I am seeing folk coming to some misinformed conclusion based on their own "online research". This is what researching something online actually looks like. Of course it helps being a fully educated medical doctor to be able understand the information that is out there.

  13. The sun does not function anymore as it should Let us NOT forget the pollution and the fires and smoke and the fact hat we must wear sun screen This stops the D3 from getting into our bodies No one can eat enough D3 Get tested and take supplements and find out for yourself what your D3 levels are!!

  14. Some symptoms of low/deficient levels: fatigue, hair loss, dry skin, weak bones teeth and nails, thyroid problems, high blood pressure, respiratory infections that happen often, etc. Vitamin D usually isn’t included in yearly blood tests. Nearly 50% of Americans have low vitamin d levels, and many have no idea. Ask your doctor for a blood test order, and insist even if they tell you “it’s probably normal, you’re healthy.” If they refuse, some labs will let you pay for the test without an order. If you don’t want to go to a lab in person, there are even ones they’ll send to your home like this: https://www.everlywell.com/products/?extole_share_channel=&extole_shareable_code=Lucy293&extole_zone_name=friend_landing_experience&extole_coupon=FRIEND20

  15. I'm taking 4000 iu per day, I've not tested for deficiency but can guarantee that I am. Saddened by the vitamin D debunking news from the media today, however I will continue to take for a multitude of known proven benefits.
