This is why I love my 6speed manual. It's never confused. ON the flips side, Sometimes I am in the wrong gear and it ruins my attempt to do something.
The best automatic I've ever driven so far, was a 2019 Volvo XC90T8 which could seamlessly swap between eletric and the engine, and also was very good at handling power in corners. as longa s it was "power mode" if you have a nonhybrid model it's just "Dynamic" Mode.
Volvo has had some really good transmissions since the 1998 models actually. the 4 speed I had in highschool had a sport mode. though in economy mode was really good still, though, there was a speed range between 35-40 where it woudln't shift down, but wasn't at a high enough RPM to produce proper boost on demand. if you could nail it just before or at 35 though it would shift real fast and literally slammed it into the next gear.
They've come a long way since, if you excluse the 2004-2009 era where there was a 0.6 second delay for any transmission shifting on the automatics Volvo had. Part of why I got my 2007 S60R with a 6 speed manual.
I get frustrated driving rental cars half the time because many companies have really weird transmissions.
Buy a Porsche Macan S or BMW X3 M40i.. you won’t regret it
Curve with some "speed". I was expecting more!
Transmission programmed for a retired old lady, it was confused that grandma left bingo so fast!
My 2017 NX F-Sport does not have your issue at all!? It’s stock aside from a TRD exhaust system & piggyback plugged in. The last dyno was 270-276whp, but that’s good enough for me daily driving a 4,000lbs+ luxury crossover suv & maintaining 25-28MPG with a semi-heavy foot… Not a sports car & can almost pretend to be one, but you may want some serious suspension work first. My NX does amazing in deep snow with proper tires, I’d buy a sports car if that’s what was expected 🤷♂️
The car saved both of your lives, thats what happened..lol
The 350 is so slow for a v6
To much understeer
That indersteer was dangerous 😳 definitely just a grocery getter
horrible turn
Lexus are just good for being comfy, most of them.
My 2020 Mazda CX-30 premium handles way better than that and it is still comfortable for a lot less money. 😂
NX is a below average model of Lexus but still it can deliver a smooth ride with limited options and drive experience. It is in the market to attract female class due to the size, outside appearance and for sure the cost!
I swear it sounds just like Mazda engine 😂
Seems like cars are getting worse than better….especially electric ⚡️
Lexus ruined the N/A v6 3.5 with replacing it with this cheap 4cyl turbo I don’t care if it’s faster it’s just not reliable and sounds horrible compared to the v6
Traction control is never happy in a Toyota or Lexus I can attest
Lmao isn’t this their tiny SUV tho?
How’s the 2024?
It's the stability control…. Shut it off then see
Its a front wheel drive biased AWD Lexus SUV loaded up with a bunch of safety nanny features and creature comforts. Do ya'll expect it to do a reverse entry or something???
I will take that Lexus all day….very reliable 💯
My 2016 altima corners twice as fast as this??
Junk car as usual. Why buy some road-boat like this and try to drive it well
I had Lexis is the worst customer service. The worst warrant is the worst in the car to. 😮😢😢😢
120000 transmission gone
I had left Home Warranty, and they scammed me.
This guy has the personality of plain grits.
try the lexus nx 200t F -Sport me personally as a owner i think it likes being pushed.
There is no transmission is and ECVT engine
My 96 civic handles better…
That hmmmm
Toyota/lexus aren't built to be pushed hard. All their programming and dynamics want you to stay in a nice safe and slow pace, and if you dont it gets confused and protests.
Your right hand isn’t even gripping the wheel
