Sad to see it go, along with the old governors building.
The city probably started the fire 🔥 in my opinion.
This is not the first person to try and redevelop this building. Nigel Jaques, who writes for Willamette Week, wrote an article a few years ago detailing the attempts. My favorite requirement was "other services that Portlanders expect". Well guess what, now you get nothing as usual for all the usual petty Portland BS.
Bldg was too old to do anything with!!! Bone’s were not good. I love his enthusiasm, but it wasn’t viable.
Red tape bureaucratic BS.
