Basic English Grammar: When & how to add ‘s’

Are you confused about whether to add an ‘s’ at the end of a word? It’s not just for plural nouns, but also for verb endings, and there’s also a pronunciation issue in some cases. Then, there’s the added question of whether to add an apostrophe—even native English speakers get mixed up about that one! This lesson on when to add the ‘s’, and how exactly to add it, is designed to clarify all of this for you. Make sure to practice with the quiz after watching.

  1. Talvez meu inglês, e outros conhecimentos mais, fossem muito melhores, ñ fosse essa prática de tentar nos passar a rasteirar, tirar o que temos, tentar ocupar nossos lugares e nos submeter ou destruir….
Se meus direitos básicos e essenciais tivessem sido respeitados eu com certeza teria conhecimentos melhores e mais apurados.

E aqui fica um olá para quem tem e tinha essa obrigação; mas aparentemente está se divertindo e "brincando"

  2. One mistake I often hear made by foreigners learning English is “clothes-ses” instead of “clothes”, which is already a plural noun. Also, they find it is a word which is quite hard to pronounce. The “thes “ (th-zzz) part of clothes gives a lot of trouble!
