⚡️Tired of playing USB-C cable roulette? You’re not crazy, USB-C is NOT a promise. It’s just the shape.
In this video, you’ll finally understand why two cables that look identical can behave like totally different products: one charges fast, one barely charges, one copies files at “carrier pigeon” speed, and one can run a monitor like it’s nothing. The secret is what’s wired inside, data “lanes,” USB versions (2.0 vs USB4), and Power Delivery (PD) rules that make your charger and device negotiate before sending real power.
You’ll also learn the sneaky reason some cheap gadgets won’t charge at all with USB-C to USB-C (yep… missing a tiny resistor), why better laptop cables need an e-marker chip, and the one simple shopping rule that gets you the closest thing to a “one cable that does everything.” 🔥
✅ If you want fewer dead devices, faster transfers, and zero “why won’t my monitor turn on?” moments… this is the guide.

I've worked with cables and plugs for decades. There are some standard rules. Chose cables as short and thick as possible, and never pull the cables, only the plugs. Carefully
Thanks for the video. Very informative.
taking too long
I abhore the USB-C SCAM !!!!
Usb c type is shit and antiquated. It's not waterproof and plaged with problems.
Much better system of charging a phone is that of GME or Minelab. Very robust system
Usb c cables are so old and antiquated and serve no purpose to the user other than charging.
Minelab use a magnetic type. 100% waterproof on their metal detectors.
GME use a similar charging system. Both very reliable.
Time to ditch this usb shit
I thought computers was here to make life a little easier .. ?
JUST GET USB C 4.
i lost 10 minutes of my life watching this. But, now I understand.
"😮Gebruikt alleen de originele kabels voor je toestel . . ." Kom én wees wijs , lezers !😮
12 minutes of my life wasted
Waste of time
For 8 minutes u r running around the problem…no solution
Thank YOU. Wow I love to be educated! Even when I need to listen twice. Brill.
Clear as fucking mud
AI GARBAGE THUMB DOWN
USB used to be a standaard, but manufacturers started to make their own and that casussen endless problems. A standaard means that a fitting plug and socket of the same kind should simply work when it fits. If the manufacturer wants another functionality, he should fire his own new standard and not pollute an existing one.
It ended up in this frustrating situation, you really need to know what the function is of the stuff you want to connect. When it fits it does not simply work anymore. Crazy development but that’s nowadays engineering….🤷🏼♂️
That issue is an Apple prolem. My PC's and Samsung phones have no pronlems
also stay with the standard feet and inches instead of meters and millimeters I mean stay with one and quit swapping the measurements. It’s just totally confusing. My brain don’t swap that well but it’s still very confusing because this cable has 240 W but it still is slow when you’re in a vehicle but it’s fast when you use the charging block. It’s just very very confusing all of it. we need a way to tell whether or not it’s a charging or a data cable, Simple and to the point.
First of all its not the consumers fault. Tech and tech wires are made cryptic on purpose. Here is a simple solution when its not obvious.
Check the cable thickness
* Thin cables = charging only…or slower data.
* Thicker cables = Usually contain more wires for faster data and higher charging power. That is this video in a "nutshell".
I never used apple but I think Lightning is better looking and sturdy form factor. If apple would made that port open source 😞
😂 great video, very humorous and informative! 👍
What kind of mentally challenged, deranged, and demeaning content creator thought this would be an interesting or informative video. This is common sense unless you were born in 1950 and just now purchasing your first phone or computer. What a waste. I stopped about 30 seconds into the video, gave it a thumbs down, and a "Don't recommend channel" so I am never exposed to something so ridiculous ever again.
I found this video just by chance showing up on my feeds ,strangely as while I was actually troubleshooting my android phone that so happened to suddenly shut down today and I could not get it to completely power up !!
placing myself Into a state total frustration while as I kept trying to mess with the power button not having the slightest clue what the hell I was actually doing nevermind nor as to whatever I was to expect from going through so many cables while simply guessing my way around it but simply left in high hopes that one might carry a magical answer and surprisingly solve the problem however Ièm still in the same position as by which I started out with and this video never helped but to make it altogether that much more so confusing !! I give up !!!!!!!!!
Useful thanks 🙂
I use differenr colors nail polish and code some of mine so I can tell which side is up for my laptop. I put dots on only the top side.
But the industry should have coded them from day one. We've been using csbles over 100 years. Any old central office telephone guy would know this. Too bad the Bill Gates digital nerd types didn't know this.
I had the same problems with Micro USB, so this is nothing new. Some cables are just cheap, and shit!
One should have a real skill to elongate a single sentence with little info into a 13 minuite pattering😅😅
Now explain why the charger heats up?
Just discovered my xreal 3d Glasses only works with USB 3.2 Cable Compatible Thunderbolt 4 /Thunderbolt 3
Being a complex connector, with lot of pins(not all being required all the time), manufacturers of cables and devices have the possibility to connect to them in any way that cross their minds. That's the reason for the problems.
So what's the type to get for charging and data transfer?
Blah blah bla bla bla
I had this problem when trying to connect a phone to our previous car.
Waste 12 minutes for information can fit in one minute
Great vid mate… ive had suspicion that c cables are not all the same, my samsung cable is the only one that works with phone, hmm, thanks
This should be a 30 second video.
