Today, like in the past, the simple and busy life of Ruqia, a hardworking nomadic mother, continues with her sons; a family that, despite all the hardships, problems and daily worries, continues to strive to build a better future. As in the past, the operator has brought food and necessary items for this family to reduce some of their worries.
But today is a different day for Ruqia; because she has been pursuing an important decision since the very beginning of the morning. Ruqia, who has decided to sell her current house and farm and move to a new place due to recent circumstances and problems, contacts a real estate agent to find a suitable house.
After the real estate agent arrives, Ruqia goes with him to visit several houses. The first house that is examined has adequate basic facilities such as water, electricity and gas, but problems related to the construction and the condition of the building make Ruqia give up on buying it. She is looking for a house that, in addition to the appropriate facilities, has a safe and usable environment for family life and keeping animals.
They continue to examine several other places until they finally reach a house that catches Ruqyah’s attention; a suitable house with basic facilities, acceptable space, and an open yard that can be very suitable for keeping and raising animals. Ruqyah likes this house more than the previous options and it seems that it can be the beginning of a new chapter in the life of this family.
After examining the conditions of this house, Ruqyah and the real estate agent decide to take steps to purchase it in the coming days; a decision that could change the lives of this mother and her sons forever.
But the story does not end there!
When Ruqyah returns home, she is faced with a harsh and upset reaction from Reza. Reza, who is attached to this house and current life, asks his mother to change her decision to sell the house and farm and move to a new place. He tries to convince Ruqayyah to regret her decision, but Reza’s insistence is ineffective.
Ruqayyah is still determined on her decision and believes that for the peace and better future of the family, they must make this big change. The disagreement between mother and son makes the atmosphere at home tense for a while; but despite these discomforts, they do not let the problems of life stop their daily responsibilities.
After this incident, Ruqayyah and Reza get busy with farm activities again. Despite all the worries on her mind, Ruqayyah goes to the animals and takes care of the goats, chickens, ducks and other farm animals and prepares fodder and food for them. Reza also cleans and organizes the hut alongside his mother, trying to do his part in the daily chores.
This day is full of big decisions, worries, disagreements and hopes for the future for Ruqiya; a mother who wants to build a more peaceful life for herself and her sons, and to achieve this goal, is willing to endure the hardships of a major move.
