Karnataka minister B Nagendra announced his resignation, saying he was stepping down voluntarily and that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah believes he has done no wrong.
Nagendra said development work and the CM’s vision should not be hampered, while accusing the BJP of portraying an innocent person as an accused. He called the episode a “test” for the people of Karnataka and said leaders from the CM to Delhi and the Congress Legislature Party had maintained that he had done no wrong.
