This is def THE BEST video teaching the R sound in French
I like your hair style !
For some reason I just cannot make the sound 😢 one of the reasons why I quit French the first time. It still won’t click… I fear if I cannot make the sound I will never be able to speak French. Even as a child I couldn’t.
bonjour Lexie! Est-ce que vous pourriez faire une leçon avec le son R avant un consonne? Comme garder, marcher, parler? je vous remercie
I just can't get this haha
THE BEST !!!
Thank you for your channel. I wanted to freshen up my college french from years ago. You're a spectacular teacher! Sending love from the state of Washington.
The best tip I've ever come across for mastering this sound really is the same tip you shared about gargling a bit of water. I would really encourage people to go beyond imagining it and actually try it. It may not be the same for everyone, but for me the two exercises really are essentially identical in tongue placement, throat muscle positioning, and airflow speed.
I'm never gonna sound as good as a native French speaker—basically nobody ever will since French people might just have the world's best accent lol, but this tip is what finally helped this sound really "click" for me.
i'm Spanish native speaker and also I can speack English as well, many kind of sounds is more easy for me because i know the English IPA and the sounds in spanish, when the consonats is put together with de R, we have somenting similar in spanish, my problem with the R is the tongue position and do the song but you advices teache me how i do the sounds correctly. thanks so much for that.
Ughh I feel like it works when it's not in words but once lots of them in words it doesn't come out right…like aupres, arbre
Thanks
Can't get it 😮
