Ok this helped me more then speech therapy in school they said I had to bring the tip of my mouth back to make the r felt uncomfortable I could do it or the said to bunch the tongue in the back felt better but I wasn’t as consistent this is better I know realized it’s just the side that matters and make lips

Thanks so much for the wonderful lesson but I have a question about pronunciation of R and L sound when they occur in the same word like "Alright," "Already" or separate words in a sentence like "A bell will ring", "I will write" that's it I hope you understand my question

I never felt a difference between l and r sounds until I found your video. Thank a lot!
For most non-native speakers, the real challenge isn’t the light L or the initial R, but the dark L and the various R-colored sounds in the middle or at the end of words — like in schedule, payable, special, little; whirlwind, world, bird, hurt, nurse, later… ☺

Mouth
– The sides of the tongue usually line up with the sides of the teeth
Tongue
– Is pulled back in your mouth
Lips
– Kiss mouth shape
– Open your mouth and release the back of the tongue
L sounds
If the word finishes with an L
– Tongue is under the top teeth
Of the word starts with an L
– Tongue is behind the top teeth
If the word has an L in the middle
– Tongue is behind the top teeth
R sound
Mouth
– The sides of the tongue usually line up with the sides of the teeth
Tongue
– Is pulled back in your mouth
Lips
– Kiss mouth shape
– Open your mouth and release the back of the tongue
Repeat "Red Lorry, Yellow Lorry" slowly, and then speed up each time until you stumble.
