I Wasn’t Prepared for Scotland

Some places live in your imagination long before you ever visit them. Scotland was one of those places for me.

In this first film of a three-part journey across Scotland, I travel to the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula – a place of ancient volcanoes, quiet coastal roads, white sand beaches, and the most westerly point on mainland Britain.

From the Ardnamurchan Lighthouse to the turquoise waters of Sanna Bay and the historic ruins of Castle Tioram, this journey became an unforgettable introduction to a country that constantly surprised me.

This film is part of a three-part series I created in collaboration with VisitScotland, exploring Scotland through cinematic storytelling and slow travel. I’m grateful to have you along on this journey with me.

  1. 스코틀랜드의 대자연이 화면 너머로도 전해지는 것 같아요. 특히 사우나 베이의 터키색 바다와 고즈넉한 등대 풍경이 정말 잊히지 않을 것 같네요. 힐링하고 갑니다!
