Regardless of grouping, the good and truth of all needs affirmed and they need invited to more.
Jesus was also baptised.
When I listened to this talk, the image of a triangle with Jesus Christ at the top immediately came to mind.
It reminded me that the covenants we make through the ordinances of the gospel are ultimately made with Jesus Christ. When we are baptized, we begin our personal journey along the covenant path, a path that leads us closer to Him.
In this triangle, each of us is at one of the other points. As we keep our covenants and draw closer to Jesus Christ, we also draw closer to one another. The closer we become to Him, the more united we become with those around us.
As President Uchtdorf puts it: “Jesus Christ has the power to change us — you and me — purify us and unite us. The closer we come to Him, the closer we will come to each other — and the closer we will come to the unity He wants for us.”
This is a beautiful reminder that Christ-centered unity begins with each of us choosing to come closer to Him. As we do so, we naturally find ourselves closer to one another.
This man always gives me more hope just so positive gentle loving each of the prophets have their own kind vibe I love it 🫡❤️

It doesn't matter where you go to church.
It does matter who one says and believes Jesus is.
The Jesus of LDS is exactly what the Apostle Paul warned us about in 2 Corinthians 11:3&4 3 But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. 4 For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted—you may well put up with it!
and Jesus warned us about in
Galatians 1:6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.
Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
Matthew 24:11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
The Apostle Peter warned us in 2 Peter 1:15-16 I will make every effort to see that after my departure you will always be able to remember these things. For we did not follow cleverly devised stories when we told you about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ in power, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
2 Peter 2:1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction.

The Apostle Paul warned us in 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers;
The Apostle John warned us in 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
John 8:32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
The Truth of Jesus is completely revealed in the Bible only. The Apostle Paul warns us to reject all others.

The Bible does NOT say Jesus is the son of mother and father god, nor is he the spirit brother of Lucifer. The Bible says Jesus is the Creator, and that Lucifer was created. The Bible says Jesus, with the Father and the Holy Spirit are the three persons in the ONE GOD, Trinity, eternally, from everlasting to everlasting. No where in the Bible does is say there a council of gods, there is no eternal progression, there is no exaltation. So either you choose the Bible or the Book of Mormon, you can NOT have both.

Your inspiring words and funny (most of time) stories, help us to feel that we belong. Belong to God`s family, that in church, brotherhood and sisterhood is real one. We see each other as sons and daughters of a loving Father, and don`t matter how old we can be.
It sounds to me, this was a speech about, united in Christ through the sacraments🍞🚰,

Eu recordei o meu batismo, também foi numa piscina era um prédio alugado e instalaram uma piscina redonda de poucos litros no andar de cima em uma plataforma de madeira mais elevada que o piso, havia poucos membros , eu estava feliz por iniciar como Jesus Cristo fez, os convênios seu exemplo é maravilhoso para mim , quando Ele vem eu sinto a Sua presença e o Seu testemunho do Salvador cresce em mim para continuarmos em frente e revelar a direção. Obrigado Dieter, por compartilhar o amor de Jesus Cristo eu poder sentí lo e em palavras da verdade restaurada e seu amor como apóstolo do Senhor em todos os seus esforços ao servir sua vida aos convênios o Senhor te ama muito, eternamente.

A beautiful talk. I reread many of your talks – so inspiring! The part about being unified was powerful! I live in Toronto. Toronto means meeting place. At church and at work many of my friends speak 2 languages some speak 3-4. A true blessing to know and work with people from all over the world and see the blessing of the gathering in this area.
I often think if each person in a ward brings 100 ancestor names to the temple and there are 100 people in the ward there are 10,000 saints beyond the veil. So we may be few in numbers but if we count those who work with us beyond the veil our numbers are much greater than we see.
