These cases are patients who I, or my colleagues have seen. They are de-identified and many instances have been presented in more depth in an academic setting. These videos are not individual medical advice and are for general educational purposes only. I do not give medical advice over the internet.
Recalls and outbreaks are different situations but can overlap. Most (not all) recalls happening now are from the company who makes the product, and often (but not always) done before anyone gets sick. Sometimes it’s a genuine mistake in the company. Other times it’s some mix of bad leadership and management, poor competence, and no regard for social responsibility. Outbreaks are “later” in time, meaning the contaminated products have already been out for a while, people have interacted with and consumed them, and people have gotten sick from food poisoning and the like, and now the local and federal agencies have to investigate. Recall situations are easier to control. Outbreaks, like the cyclospora one, are much more unpredictable and harder to control. In this environment, you can control what you pay attention to, and it is best to see the current recalls and alerts from FDA and CDC. The fact that we’re still hearing about them means the system isn’t completely turned to mush right now, despite the ongoing narratives. But you still have to do what you need to, to protect yourself.

I once had that and i thought im gonna die. It was so bad that drinking just a few millilitres of water made me puke i had to hydrate myself just by putting a few drops of water in my mouth without swallowing for 5 days and i didnt est a single thing. I lost 8 kg in just these 5 days. My bones felt as if they are about to crumble like a lego piece and the joints were burning. And all that while i was on vacation in Africa. After regeneration i booked a one way trip back

I never had kids, never wanted them but even I know as a pregnant woman you should stay away from untreated milk/products and catlitterboxes and be careful with raw foods. Aren't women in US informed of such things by their doctors when they become pregnant?

This is a great video. Pregnancy is astoundingly dangerous. When we were expecting, we were explicitly told to avoid all of these things and that was over 20 years ago. When I saw the DOB, I felt very old.

A younger family member of mine got himself some type 1 diabetes from that behavior. Wouldn’t eat anything but pizza and pop tarts for over a decade until his pancreas said uncle 😢
