After 15 years, a brutal Pokémon mechanic is back in Legends Z-A, and it’s deadlier than ever.

Are you more surprised that poison has been missing since gen 5 or that pokemon black and white dropped in 2010? 👴🏻🧓🏻
So it’s still eeeextremely avoidable. Sucks that they toned it down, those situations were the seasoning of the playing experience.
What if they made the pokemon die with no return
Hah looking back on this after I played za… Just make sure your pokémon is not out of its pokeball LOL.. really easy to avoid this mechanic and it's kind of annoying that they didn't go harder. They should have
So basically, from when I quit playing to when I started playing again. So I never even noticed lol 😅
Now you make me not want to buy Pokémon za
Does poison drop health to 0 if not in battle in za?
Never needed to be taken out, don't know why TF gamefreak removed it. Literal easiest games on the planet and ppl are scared of their pokemon fainting on the way to the next town due to poison… A literal non issue cuz even if you were to lose all your pokemon to poison while traveling it's not like the game starts you back at the beginning of the game, it spawns you at the last pkmn center you visited… They need to add it back, PERMANENTLY!
Corbeau spotted
I'm not sure why in-world status effects got removed. I thought they were good features.
Make pokemon half way difficult again
Last game I played was Pokémon pearl. They got rid of poison status?!
Thought they would just recover from the power of friendship in B&W? Or was that S&M?
Antidote
Potion
Fly
Teleport
😅
Poison isn't a big deal at all and y'all sound like tourists.
I wish I had this game
Can nobody speak English anymore!?
This is a RPG staple that they got rid of in 5 for some reason
I didn't even know they removed the poison thing… long live rom hacks! Thank you rom creators! Without them, Pokemon would've died for me 15 years ago according to this video
Pokemon z a was garbage, but that's pretty cool that they're bringing that back
Or burn!
I play mostly older Pokémon games and I've never had a pokemon "pull through" the Poison effect, didn't know that was a thing
Are u German
I’m so glad that shit is gone
see the older generations were more realistic even in the pokeball your pokemon will not survive the trip to the pokecenter if youre too far out unless you have an antidote or extreme luck
they should actually make the Pokemon faint just like older times. Imagine if your only pokemon is poisoned And you don't have any Antidotes. it's a race against steps to reach the Pokemon Center before your pokemon ultimately faints and you lose money. Even worse for noobie Nuzlocke players who forget to stock up on Antidotes and get crushed by Weedles, Ekans, Cascoons etc ending their run for good.
I remember when I first played Pokémon yellow barely being able to read and getting poisoned and thinking my game was messed up when ever the screen would bleep and invert colors
Poor Chilorita…
Haych-P?
You can also just fast travel to a Pokémon center and heal
Kind of dumb, should have just kept it to steps not timer
Well shit
Wy would they bring that back.
idk maybe it’s just me but it doesn’t feel like it’s the same mechanics. It’s just the normal poison but because battles are live and not turn based, the poison just hits every three seconds.
