This was the last American shuttle mission (STS-135) to the International Space Station (ISS), with the launch having taken place on July 8, 2011. When Atlantis returned to Earth on July 21, 2011, it was retired. There are no further plans for additional American government-sponsored shuttles to the ISS. All travel to and from the ISS now takes place in the space vehicles of other countries.
The materials for the SPHERE robot experiments were stored on the ISS until the scheduled date of conduct of those experiments: October 20, 2011. All experiments were completed successfully. It was beautiful!
The open source Android OS allowed NASA and Google engineers to work together in designing this method for controlling the SHEPRE robots. iPhones were also sent to the ISS aboard this last shuttle mission but were not used to control the SPHERE robots since the iPhone OS is not open source.
Look down, now up!
Where are you? We're in space, with the Droid your phone could be like.
Look at your hand! Now back to me.
I have it! It's the latest Nexus, with all the features and freedom you could want.
Look again! The Nexus is now a robot!
Anything is possible when you use a Droid and not an Apple.
I'm on a rocket.
Look at your iPhone, now back to me.
Look at your iPhone, now back to me.
Sadly, it isn't me. But, if you stop consuming Apples and use some REAL Droid power, it could be like me.
Nexus=Phone for sperg lords with virtually zero useful functions for 99.99999999% of the population, iPhone=phone for average people who don't want malware, ui lag, and software support.
I've been trying to decide between a G2X and Nexus S as a good used vanilla android phone to buy. This is the BEST endorsement for a phone I've ever seen. Its fcking Nasa man, NASA!
and I agree with RealConty… Take that Apple brainwashed SHEEPLE!!

Proud Android User… I uses iPhone before…. But switch to Android…and never return.
6 months later. New version of Android is called Jelly Bean. O_O
Their fucking NASA, I would hope the phone is easy for them to take apart.

Open Source. Fuck Yes.

Trying to convince my grandparents family to switch to Android. My Aunt works at Nasa, so this will help.
