Apparently I’m Building an RV Park Now

Today on Workin’ With Wiley, we’re back working on a property just down the road from our Arkansas homestead. What started with mowing, cleanup, and smoothing out some rough ground has turned into a long list of projects — including plans for around 10 RV spots!

Wiley has been using the tractor and box blade to fill holes, level rough ground, improve a future picnic area, and prepare a parking area. But there’s still plenty more coming. The property owner is planning RV pads, a new driveway entrance with a 30-foot culvert, drainage improvements, hundreds of pine trees, pond work, and plenty more grading and cleanup.

It’s one of those jobs where every time you finish one thing… you find three more things that need doing. 😂 But that’s how property improvement goes — a little work at a time can completely transform a piece of land.

Come along as Wiley puts the tractor to work and helps turn this property owner’s plans into reality.

  1. Sounds like you have a lot of work to do but that’s good just be careful out there since it’s so hot and dry like you said Wylie just take care of yourself and Jen keep an eye on him so he doesn’t overwork himself

  2. Hi Wiley and Jenn. It's so nice that you are working on others properties. You're going to be making some money and that helps your family. It also keeps you busy if you don't have work to do on your land. Bless you both!! ❤️🩷

  3. Taking my idea. I just want 4 or 5 RV parking spots around here. They're good monthly income. A lady nearby has 8 spots on gravel, she pays the electric and water. She nets over $300 a month per rented spot, and does charge $25 or $50 more a month for July and Aug to help cover the higher electric bill for AC. She usualy has at least 5 of the 8 rented at all times. I don't want a ton of people but a little extra income would be nice, so 4 or 5 is good enough for me.
