Grandpa's funeral was on Wednesday this was the first song. It's so hard to see him go. He met my Nana in the 1940s she had polio and was paralysed in her legs, called a cripple and hated by her mum. They met and he saw the beauty in her. They got married and had 3 amazing daughters mum and aunties which led to me. Nana could walk with callipers and crutches, until her shoulders couldn't hold her. Shoulders aren't legs! Until his last day at 94 when she needed help getting to the loo, in and out of bed, making cups of tea. He was a farmer and loved reading maps and atlases we're Australian he could tell you every American state, population size, capital in alphabetical order, and area size. I have his globe now, because I'm a little weird in a different way, I read dictionaries he reads maps now I read dictionaries and maps. Love you pa. X
