  1. Fun fact: bones do not exist to be a structural element. Instead they originally evolved as a way to dispose of excess Calcium. The element is so reactive and so common, it’s actually one of the most dangerous things for living things to encounter. The structural aspect of bones comes much later, literally tens of millions of years after they originally evolved.

  2. I have always wondered how glass ampules are formed around the materials.
I know NileRed smashes the ampules like that for
dramatic effect, but also wonder how are they
    "normally" opened?

  3. What is the diffrence between calcium in our bodies and calcium you are showing here? In same what is diffrent in minerals labeled in our bodies and minerals found in earth? Given same names, if calcium is water soluble How come medicine claims arteries veins have calcium deposits? So back to same query unless so called deposits are not taken out of arteries examined in labs the cure starts from there

  4. A highly reactive metal is just what we need in our bodies… Not only it is used to make and maintain bones and teeth.. But also it is vital to neurons and the way cells function in general…
