CANADA V AUSTRALIA | BUSHIE ASKS WHICH ONE IS THE MOST DANGEROUS?! | BUSH DEEP S02 E06

G’day, Bushie here and welcome back to the show the whole world’s talking about! This week I ask… is Australia more dangerous than Canada?

👉 Check out new episodes of my show ‘BUSH DEEP’ right here:

Now, a lot of you have been writing to me going, “Hey, Bushie, really want to come to Australia, but I’m afraid I’m going to die.” Which is fair because we do have a fair few critters that bite. But I’m here to prove today that Australia is still the safest country on the planet, and I am engaging the help of two completely random North American backpackers who have zero association with me whatsoever. Welcome, Charlotte and Olivia!

  1. Great video, lovely ladies all round. Been a proud Canadian for 84 years and the most dangerous thing here in Central Canada is freezing rain or a lot of snow and you gotta drive to work or make it to an arena across town to play a pickup game. Wicked awful but likely not deadly if you give yourself a lot of time, eh. I've been close up to a lot of black bears and chased by moose a few times. Not really such a big deal. But poisonous snakes & spiders, come on. I'm in central Canada and we don't have cougars or brown bears but it's true they're pretty bad in BC. So, maybe just BC and part of Alberta are as bad as Australia and moose collisions in Newfoundland.

  2. Canada has Grizzley's. A single Grizzley can turn Australia into a wasteland. It may take two or three grizzly's to kill ever Salty in Australia. Remember, Grizzley's spend half their life on the ice flows hunting KILLER WHALES. A Saltie is a snack to htm.
I live in Arizona USA. EVERYthing survived by eating EVERYthing that crosses their path. Even the cactus can be lethal. Meet a Javalina pack and they WILL kill you, then eat the grass you are bleeding into. Veterians in Arizona are dangerous. We have spiders her that KILL people, and walk away from the body. We have a lizard, the Gila Monster, that is so dangerous, that if it bites you, your only chance it to cut its head off then have a hospital cut its head from your body. By then it is too late.
If it liives in Arizona, it lives only because it is MEANER than every other plant and animal around.

  3. Absolutely, Bushie. Canada is WAY more dangerous. We have the dreaded snow sharks. They'll just sneak up on you when you're not looking and snap a leg off like nothing.

  4. One big difference when comparing dangerous beasts is that, when working in the Canadian wilderness, I don't need to shake my boots out in the morning in case a bear, moose, or cougar is trying to hide in them.

  5. They missed there were 2 backpackers in Banff Natl Park 2 years ago get mauled by an old, emaciated, grumpy Griz.
By all accounts the pair did everything right.
    That said, hilarious interview!🤣

  6. I've smoked weed for 35 years and have no lung issues. It's the smoke from the forest fires that hurts you. Also Cannabis doesn't make you hallucinate. This lady needs to smoke a doob and chill.

  7. Between the casual attitude, humour and swearing, these two young women are SO Canadian! 🇨🇦 The whole conversation was increasingly hilarious. Stories will be told about those two long after they leave Australia.

  8. Canadian here. First time I've seen a "bushie" vid and I greatly enjoyed this interview that you had with the 2 B.C. girls. I could relate to what they said because I'm in Calgary In the foothills on the east side of the Rocky Mountains. Which is more dangerous, Canada or Australia? They both are when they come together against you as allies and family. 🙂 Great vid. Thanks.

  9. Here's one for pies Bushy. Head out to Gundy via Cunnies Gap and after Warwick there's a little spot on the highway called Gore. They do the most amazing tasty meaty. If they don't have any ready, and you've got a half hour, they'll do a fresh bake for you so you know that it will be ripper.
You see while you wander around the nearby bush, you may find an Echidna that you could pick up and cuddle (did you know that the belly fur on those little ant eaters is actually quite soft. But they are very precious about they let scratch them there. And the erect Echidna dick is shaped like a capital Y.)
Thanks Bushy. You never once reminded them of the drop bears that are waiting in the tallest gum trees. Everywhere.
Or kicked to death by a Cassowary.

  10. The second verse of O Canada they sung is incorrect , its O Canada where pines and maples grow and lordly river flow and great prairies spread from east to western sea, O Canada we stand on guard for thee.
