In your one video you said middle part of the tongue raises then the tongue tip finishes by touching the ridge… I'm confused now which one to use
❤

I need stories from you
❤ the best ❤ Rachel ❤
❤❤
Your explanation is very clear that is easy to understand
amazing video, but I got a question, I've been trying to learn the dark L for a long time, and I was told to actually LIFT the back of the tongue rather than press down, plsss gimme an answer on thiss!?
I watched this short video and my L pronunciation that had been difficult for
1 month was immediately resolved.
Thank you very much.😉😉😉

This makes so much sense. I think as trying to stick my tongue to the back of my upper teeth for dark L. It feels so out of place lol
Teacher can you make a video about usages of preposition out please ❤
wow you're the best pronunciation teacher ever !
Great video!
Wow wonderful teacher
Interesting. Although i can make the sound using my tip of the tapping on rhe back side of the roof of the mouth
Edit – In case someone sees this comment, how i described is straight up wrong and that is not how you should be pronouncing the sound.
Your content is the best. I'm a teacher too and always get good insights from your videos
I didn't know that difference. Thanks so much for your guidance, Rachel. ❤😊
Thanks Rachel!
It does lift, but it is velarized. If it didn’t, it would be the voiced velar approximant or the voiced velar lateral approximant.
It's so important
Looks like oo in book
What in the world…. I never knew this!!!😅
Your videos are so didactics.
This is gold. Thank you for teaching. Keep up the good work 👏
Really good
There is ONE kind of Ll sound in American English whatever you call it.
Rachel 🎉 you are an awesome teacher
That's a huge tip💯, I've never noticed before tbh..I guess this seems subtle, yet very crucial for mastering a native pronunciation!
This is the approach that i am looking for😊
Lllllllest
My tongue still touches the alveolar ridge when I say able or Rachel.
just speak english with a spanish accent and you'll sound american
its as simple as that
Plz help I improve my eng plz can you tell me how can I do
As an American, I’ve been saying able, google and any other word that has an “l” sound at the end wrong 🤣
Do you have to use the light L when L comes at the beginning of the word or can you use the dark L all the time? Also. does the back of the tongue raise or stay down for the light L?
