  1. Saw the 2 episodes on Netflix, but sorry to say its no where close to the character Michiko Daimon played by Ryoko Yonekura in Original Japanese Dr. X on Netflix. Kim Ji-won is a good actor and no doubts on that, but but but unfortunately she is no where close to Ryoko Yonekura as far as the role of Dr. X is concerned.

  2. Watched the 1st episode of this last night. Honestly not so impressed with the Korean version of Doctor X, so unable to finish it. I miss a female doctor that looks like a model, able to dance in the night club, while saving lives using her surgery skills, as well as her boss that offers water melon while asking for payment. I will stick to the original version of Doctor X for now.

Plus using a hand gesture to introduce yourself as Doctor X while still in the 1st episode?? Lame

  3. "It suddenly occurred to me: Both are 'Doctor X', but the Korean version's protagonist mostly wears pants, while the Japanese version's protagonist mostly wears skirts. I wonder if this is due to Kim Ji-won's physical appearance and features?"

  4. I was watching the original Japanese version. Though it's too early to comment, but I liked the Japanese version (the 1st episode) more. Something is missing in the Korean version. I missed the spark. Maybe it will pick up in the coming episodes. I still have a high hope as Kim Ji-won is the main lead.

  5. Been waiting since her appearance in Salon Drip. On Ep 2 and can’t wait for more. So far the plot and characters seem interesting. And directing too, not slow and unnecessary shots. In person Jiwon is so soft, humble and an introvert . She’s indeed a solid actress who can transform into a spoilt rich gal in Heirs and now a cool, tough doctor. She is so purely a beauty. In unflattering Dr garbs, little makeup, even the mask can’t hide her beauty. Can’t wait to see more of how she portrays this character. Kim Ji Won, Fighting 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

  6. I do like that Netflix is promoting the original Japanese show right alongside this remake (at least in my region). I am still angry that they took off the original Japanese version of Even if This Love Disappears from the World Tonight shortly before they released that inferior Korean version. It was like sending a message that they didn't want viewers to compare the two.
