The American English is supposed to be "lazy" and should not have such kind of difficult phoneme as Dark L, which should be the result of a coarticulation.

But when you explained the part about bringing the back of the tongue to the throat, I was finally able to make the L sound like an English L 🎉

Hi Rachel, in your previous video you said 'the əl is the dark L,' but this video describes the dark L differently. I'm confused because different phonics experts have different opinions on the place of articulation of the dark L.
